The Cutty Sark is the world’s last surviving tea clipper, famed for her record-breaking voyages across the globe. Now preserved as an award-winning museum, she offers visitors the chance to experience life on board one of Britain’s most cherished maritime icons.

Launched in 1869 for the China tea trade, the Cutty Sark was built for speed — a masterpiece of Victorian engineering. Her original wooden planks and iron frame have been carefully conserved as part of an ambitious six-year restoration project. Raised over three metres off the ground, the ship now offers a unique perspective: you can walk directly beneath her gleaming hull and admire the beauty of her design from below.

Your admission ticket grants you full access to explore every part of the ship. Wander through the sailors’ living quarters, take the helm at the wheel, and marvel at the towering masts and 11 miles of rigging from the main deck. You’ll also enjoy stunning views of the River Thames from this iconic location.

Located in the heart of Maritime Greenwich, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Cutty Sark is just a short walk from the Queen’s House and the National Maritime Museum — both free to enter. Don’t miss the nearby Royal Observatory, the historic home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and the Prime Meridian.
